Want to learn more about your Apple or Android tablet or smartphone? In January, the Iowa City Public Library will offer several classes that help beginning and intermediate users get a better handle on their hand-held devices.

Join us at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 13, for iPad Tips and Tricks. This class is offered for the intermediate iPad user. Learn how to customize your device, keep your iPad safe, and get the most out of your device’s memory.

Due to patron demand, the Library will offering an Android Basics class at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 21. Learn how to manage the apps on your device, get important information about settings and system updates, and find out how to keep your device safe and much more.

Apple App Class: Camera, Video, and Photo will be held at 10 .m. on Tuesday, January 24 and 2 p.m. on Monday, January 30. Get an in depth look at the camera, photo, and video apps for your Apple device. Learn how to edit, store, and share your photos and videos easily.

All classes for adults are held in the Library’s Computer Lab on the second floor. Classes are free, but registration is required. Classes fill up fast, so please register early.
