2022 Spring International Writing Program (IWP) Panel: Cultures in Conflict

Join us for our weekly Friday Iowa City Public Library series for Spring 2022!
Join International Writing Program (IWP) writers-in-residence and members of the public for a panel discussion of "Cultures in Conflict"
What is the place of a writer, and more broadly of literary writing, in the ever more conflict-driven, often hostile social environments surrounding us? Can the tensions be ignored? Should they?
Current IWP 2022 Spring Residents on the panel:
Tariro NDORO (poet, fiction writer, non-fiction writer; Zimbabwe)
Felix NESI (fiction writer, activist; Indonesia)
Pamela RAHN SÁNCHEZ (poet, visual artist; Venezuela)
MADHU Raghavendra (poet, activist; India)
