Update! I received the DVD of Alberto Cavalcanti's Dead of Night via inter-library loan--Loras College was able to send it to me. And it was pretty good! The short piece that was the H.G. Wells story may have been the worst of the set. It was a goofy golf-playing ghost story. A couple of the stories spooked me pretty good, and the ending succeeded in unraveling into madness. Didn't leave as big of an impression on me as The Innocents, but was well-worth requesting via ILL!
