Jane Ray's new folktale retelling, The Elephant's Garden is absolutely stunning. Not only is the tale itself lovely, but Ray's illustrations show her understanding and respect for the folktale's origins. Be sure to check this one out!
Jane Ray has also been nominated for the 2018 Hans Christian Andersen Award for her body of work.
