Beats of the Gold Coast

Get on your feet and move to the Beats from the Gold Coast percussion ensemble! Learn about immigrant children in Iowa as author Carol Spaulding-Kruse shares stories from her book Zakery's Bridge. Dance Fest with Armando Duarte and "Clever Anansi" Puppet Show

O Kidspectacular presents this traditional African tale…with a twist, as Anansi deals with bullies Elephant and Hippo. Then learn how to dance the samba to music from Rio with University of Iowa Professor of Dance Armando Duarte. Free bunny craft.

Earth Day Fair

6070738395_1377f979fa Join the fun at one of 10 different stations celebrating creative ways to take care of  our planet. Stations include 100 Grannies, Local Foods, Budding Biologists, Bike Library, Biggers Family, Farm to School, and Bloomin' Wooley Acres.  Free crafts and a bubble wrap relay.
