There are two opportunities to support the Iowa City Public Library this weekend at ICPL Friends Foundation fundraising events:
ICPLFF Book Sale Pop Up Shop at Iowa City Holiday Market
Saturday, November 11, 2023 -8:00 am to 1:00pm
Shop the Iowa City Holiday Market at Robert A. Lee Recreation Center, and stop by The Book End booth for used books. Our volunteers will be staffing this event, and able to tell you more about The Book End located on the second floor of Iowa City Public Library, along with the Iowa City Public Library Friends Foundation which inspires every member of our community to support the ICPL as a Library user, volunteer, or donor.
30th Annual Book Gala
Sunday, November 12, 2023 -6:30 pm to 8:00pm
Join us for the 30th Annual Book Gala at Prairie Lights Books. Enjoy light refreshments while shopping this after-hours benefit for the Library. Online sales until midnight on November 12th at https://www.prairielightsbooks.com (type "ICPL library sale" in the comment box) will also be included.
Bring your wish list so the knowledgeable staff at Prairie Lights Books may help you find books, children's toys, and other special gifts. A percentage of the night's total sales will be donated to the ICPL Friends Foundation.
Donate two or more used books for The Book End, ICPL's used bookstore, and be entered for a prize!
