Family Night activities include ready to-go kits that can be picked up during Library Hours, Monday-Saturday 10am-6pm and Sundays 12-5pm. Look for a new activity each month, and you can even request a book bundle with five items to supplement the activity that can be enjoyed by the whole family! When you register, make a plan to pick up the kit the week of the event.
Are you looking for a fun project to do with Mom, Grandma, an aunt or any special guardian in your life for Mother's Day? Why not learn a fun, new skill together with Codi from Home Ec. Workshop? Via Zoom, Codi will teach your family how to sew a super cute pocket pal. Pick up the supplies ahead of time from the library and follow along on Zoom as we stitch it up and decorate a cute little room...complete with a blanket, pillow and artwork! Everything will fit perfectly into a pocket sized tin!
Important Note: *This project can be done entirely by hand or by machine--because it is online a parent should be available to assist -especially with needle threading or using a machine. Please be considerate before registering for this program that you have a child that is an appropriate age/skill and motivation to complete this project.
