07/25/2023 7:00pm 07/25/2023 8:00pm Let's Talk Books: Young Adult Books aren't just for Teens Publishers market Young Adult (YA) books to kids from 12-18, but that doesn't mean they're the only ones who read them. Young adult books appeal to adult readers too. Common themes of YA books include coming of age, family conflicts, individualism, loss, and self discovery to name a few. They can be realistic or heavily into fantasy or anywhere in between. Not a traditional book group, Let's Talk Books is a series of casual online conversations about books. We meet on Zoom the 2nd and 4th Tuesday evening of each month and the genre or theme for the discussion changes each time. We each bring a few titles to share, and by the end of the discussion we all have a few new titles on our to-be-read lists. Register here and you'll receive a confirmation email with the Zoom login details. You'll also get a reminder email a few days before the event. Everyone is welcome!
