The Teen Summer Reading Program ends the last day of July. To celebrate, we're having a Teen Lock In Finale Party this Friday, July 26 from 8-11 p.m. Teens going into Grades 7-12 are invited to hang out at the Library after hours! We've got a lot of fun stuff planned. Here are just a few things: An epic scavenger hunt, duct tape crafts, book dominoes (though we probably won't break the world record) and Minecraft. Also, Pancheros is providing delicious burritos. Be in Meeting Room A by 8:30 to get locked-in.

I am a sucker for Sci-Fi action movies of the 80s including Predator. Prey is the perfect example of how to do a prequel--it's an awesome movie with inventive action and visuals that stands on its own, but also has cool callbacks and references to the original films. -Brian
