Do you like the Iowa City Public Library? If so, “Like” us on Facebook!
The Library recently launched a contest to reach 5,000 likes by February 14: Valentine’s Day.
“This is more than a contest,’” says Kara Logsden, the Library’s community and access services coordinator. “Our Facebook page has the Library’s latest news, program information, and book recommendations. We want our patrons to know what’s happening at their Library.”
But it should be fun, too. If the Library reaches its goal of 5,000 likes by Valentine’s Day, one Facebook friend will receive an ICPL prize package, which includes a T-Shirt, tote bag, and pencils.
One winner will be chosen at random. Individuals who are already Facebook fans will be included in the drawing.
