The Iowa City Public Library Bookmobile’s Summer Schedule will begin Tuesday, June 6.
This date is a delay from the original start date of June 1 due to an accident. The Bookmobile sustained physical damage when it hit a pole in route to a school visit earlier this week, breaking two of the vehicle’s windows. No one was hurt, but the windows need to be replaced, pushing the start of the summer schedule back to June 6.
The Library apologizes for the inconvenience.
Please visit the Bookmobile on June 6 at the following Iowa City locations:
- 9 to 10 a.m.: Legacy Senior Living, 1020 S. Scott Blvd.
- 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.: Oaknoll Retirement Residence, 735 George St.
- Noon to 1p.m.: North Dodge Hy-Vee, 1125 N. Dodge St.
- 2 to 3 p.m.: Forest View Trailer Court, 1205 Laura Drive
- 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.: Iowa City Marketplace, 1660 Sycamore St.
