Beginning April 3, The Library Channel will no longer be broadcast on Channel 20 via Mediacom. This decision was made by Iowa City Public Library administrators due to changing technology and the increased costs associated with broadcast equipment.
The Library Channel originates from the Iowa City Public Library. Its primary mission is to extend Library programs for children and adults to a wider audience and to inform the community about Library services. Those who wish to continue viewing The Library Channel content may do so at video.icpl.org. Live streamed programs can be viewed by visiting the Library’s calendar event pages or youtube.com/user/thelibrarychannel.
