Recently we identified a need to translate information about the Library into Swahili. Keep an eye out for information about "How to Get a Library Card" that is translated into Swahili. This information is already available in Spanish, French and Arabic.
We'll also be rolling out translated information about our Ride and Read programs in Swahili.
If you are a part of an organization that works with community members who need Library information in languages beyond English, please let me know. We'd be happy to send information your way!
We are also collecting contact information for people we can depend on to share information about the Library with community members who do not get information in traditional venues such as email and social media. If you are a person who works with community members and posts information on bulletin boards or sends information in newsletters and would like to share Library information, please contact me.
