UI Paleontology Repository Collections Manager Tiffany Adrain will take guests through the University of Iowa fossil collections, held in trust for the state of Iowa. Visitors can see some of the one-million plus fossils, from microfossils to mammoths, from the last 500-million years and get a closer look at Iowa’s common and rare fossils, including historic collections and newly acquired specimens at the forefront of paleontological research. Registration is Required for this event, and limited to 10 people per tour due to the size of the Repository. Additional tours will be scheduled based on wait list sign ups.
Location: Trowbridge Hall, T. Anne Cleary walkway (between Jefferson and Market Street)
