Start your school year off with your Student AIM Card and your Public Library! In 2019, The Iowa City Community School District (ICCSD), in partnership with the Iowa City Public Library, Coralville Public Library, and the North Liberty Community Library, launched the student AIM Card. AIM or Access to Information and Materials is available to all ICCSD students grades K-12 and gives students the ability to check out three items at any of the three participating libraries by using their ICCSD student-issued ID number, instead of a traditional library card.

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten reading program encourages parents of newborns to 5-year-olds to read a wide range of books to their child to help them get a jumpstart kindergarten readiness. Every word you say builds your child’s brain, and every book you read to your child gets them closer to a reading milestone prize at the library.
