Sarah Young Bear-Brown, whose Meskwaki name Tti ka mi ge a translates to “woman who stands along the edge of the river,” will discuss her life as a profoundly deaf mother, artist and environmental advocate on the Meskwaki Settlement near Tama, Iowa.
