The store is staffed by more than 40 dedicated volunteers who sell books, DVDs, and music CDs donated by the public and the Library at bargain prices. Proceeds from The Book End support the Library’s Children’s Summer Reading Program, Teen Summer Reading Program, the Art Purchase Prize for the Art-to-Go program, and additions to the Library collection.

Donations of gently used books, DVDs, and CDs are welcomed and accepted at the store when it is open, or at the Fiction Desk of the Library.
