The Adventure Pass Program is set to temporarily pause on December 31, 2024. The Adventure Pass provides free access to several Iowa attractions and museums when you make a reservation using your Iowa City Public Library card. Adventure Passes are still available to book through December 31, and all existing passes will be honored.
The pause is due to the loss of the reservation software used to book passes, as our vendor is unexpectedly ceasing operations. The statewide administrator for the Adventure Pass Program is working on securing a new vendor for Iowa libraries who participate in this program as quickly as possible. Until then, this pause affects all Iowa libraries participating in the Adventure Pass program.
We know you all love the Adventure Pass, and we are working to get it back up and running as soon as we can.
Visit icpl.org/adventure-pass for more information about the program or to book and print a pass for December!
Pet owners will be charmed and feel seen while reading this funny book about all the ways Peggy, an adorable terrier, is naughty and annoying. Interactive text makes the book a great read-aloud, as does the straight-shooter narrator, a red-haired little girl, who frankly discusses gross doggy behaviors. The highlight of the bright, fun illustrations are the dog's adorable facial expressions on each page. -Anne W
