Early voting for November 7 City and School Election


In person early voting at the Auditor's Office for the November 7, 2023 City & School Election began in Johnson County on Wednesday, October 18. The Iowa City Public Library will again be a satellite host in November.

ICPL satellite location hours will be:

Saturday, November 4, 10 AM - 6 PM

Sunday, November 5, 12 PM - 5 PM

Other satellite location schedules are available on the Johnson County Auditor election site.

Identification is required for those wanting to vote absentee in-person (which includes drive-thru and satellite voting locations). More information on voter ID requirements, including alternative options for those without a driver's license or non-operator's ID, is available at the Secretary of State's website.

Approved forms of ID and residency for voting in Johnson County Iowa

In-person early voting will be available at the Auditor's Office in the Johnson County Administration Building, 913 S. Dubuque St. on weekdays from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, October 18 through November 6.
