Has your library card expired?

Have you noticed that your library card has expired? Don’t fret! The library has all of our library card accounts expire every year or two, and that gives us a chance to make sure we can still contact you and that you still live in the area. Your library card number doesn’t even change!

We send you a notice a few days before your card expires, giving you some time to respond. We’re sure you don’t want your library privileges to lapse! You can respond to the email with your current address AND phone number (we do need both!). We’ll email you back that we’ve updated your account, and you’ll be good to go. If you don’t do email, you can call us and we’ll verify the same information and update your account over the phone. It’s that easy!

Don’t have a library card yet? Apply for a library card on our website and one of our friendly library staff will assign you a library card number you can use to check out books for curbside pickup or mail delivery, download ebooks, and access all our digital resources. When the building reopens, you can visit us to update your account and get your physical library card.

Don’t miss out on all the fun things ICPL has to offer you, and make sure to contact us to update your card!
